We are delighted to officially welcome Sara to the DANSA family as our Dance Teacher.

Sara's dance journey began at just two years old, where she trained in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet syllabus, progressing through to Advanced 1 level. Alongside her classical ballet training, she has developed a diverse skill set in Acro, Commercial, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, and Tap.

Her passion for dance led her into the competitive dance world, where she spent 11 years competing across Canada. During this time, she gained invaluable experience in performance, teamwork, discipline, and stage presence that continues to influence her teaching today.

Sara went on to complete a Performing and Visual Arts Dance Programme, where she explored the history and culture of dance while training in a wide range of styles, including Body Percussion, Latin Jazz, Swing Jazz, West African, and Vogue, alongside her classical foundations. She also studied Dance Composition, further developing her creativity and choreography skills.

As part of her professional training, Sara travelled to New York City to participate in workshops with some of the industry's most respected institutions, including the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Broadway Dance Center, and Open Jar Studios. Learning from leading professionals across Canada and the United States has shaped Sara into the versatile, knowledgeable, and passionate educator she is today.

Sara is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where every child feels supported to grow in confidence, develop strong technical foundations, and discover a lifelong love of dance. She believes that every student deserves to feel inspired, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

You'll find Sara in the studio on Tuesday, Thursdays & Saturday where she brings endless enthusiasm, positivity, and energy to every class. We are so excited to have her as part of the DANSA team and cannot wait to watch her continue to grow alongside our incredible studio family.
